Andy and I recently were involved in the Pink Party in Wellington which raised a whopping $3,368.60 for The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation .
It was a wonderful display of how community and how everyone from all areas of Wellington could pull together to contribute, dance, laugh and have so much fun. This year the event was also live streamed which made it even more accessible for those who couldn’t physically be there.
What I enjoyed the most was meeting all the other Zumba instructors from all over. It was amazing to see every bodies passion for the cause and also for Zumba! Some of the performances were absolutely amazing with not only instructors on stage but also students. We were lucky enough to have four from our class get up on stage with us and show everybody how incredible they are.
One of my favourite performances on the day was from Pamela Ruth from https://www.dancefitnz.com. Such a fierce dance with some stunning costumes, team work and mad booty shaking skills. Truly inspirational.

Here are some photos of Andy and I. When Andy told me to go to the shop and grab a pink T-Shirt… he may have gotten more than her bargained for with the epic pink suit I came home with. He might have stolen the show a little bit with this outfit but I think it was worth it! Doesn’t he look awesome??
